Aqua Planet Jeju consists of three marine-themed halls, including an “Ocean Arena” (performance hall) and a museum of “Marine Science” and “Aquarium”.

The main reservoir of this Jeju aquarium has a volume of 5,300 m3 (1,400,000 US gallons) and is the largest water reservoir in Korea. Large sharks and rays such as Sand Tiger and Gitarfish giants are bred in the aquarium. There is also a tunnel inside the aquarium. The main creatures in this aquarium are seals, penguins, sand tiger sharks, sea lions, seals, and giant groupers.

In this aquarium, beach cleaning and underwater treatment are done regularly. It has also established the first Korean specialized medical center for aquatic animal life and carries out many activities to protect the life of these creatures.
