The World Economic Forum ranked the best tourist country in 2021 as the best country.
In its 2021 Tourism Competitiveness Report, the organization analyzed data from international organizations and surveyed executives, examining five primary factors in 140 countries:
- Business environment
- Safety and security
- Health and hygiene
- Human resources and labor market
- ICT (Information and Communications Technology) Readiness
The World Economic Forum also examined a country’s priority competitiveness in tourism, international openness, tourism infrastructure, cultural and natural resources, and prices.
